Born in 2005 in Istanbul, Duru Aydın began her piano lessons at the age of 6 with Aytaj Rzaguliyeva. She was admitted to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory in 2013 as a part-time student and continued her studies as a full-time student in 2015. She currently continues her education with Prof. Metin Ülkü.
Duru has won numerous awards in international piano competitions held in Italy and Belgium. In 2017, she won first prize at the 12th International Pera Piano Competition and second prize at the 12th International Chopin Piano Competition held in Narva, Estonia, in 2018. She also performed at the Idil Biret Festival in Bodrum Castle in 2022, receiving great acclaim.
Having performed in prestigious concert halls, Duru has played as a soloist with orchestras such as the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and the Trakya Chamber Orchestra. Recognized internationally for her talent and achievements, Duru aims to perform on even bigger stages in the future.
